What is the Assessment?

The Blade Assessment Tool is designed to help you determine whether blade or rack servers can help meet your organization's requirement. The assessment uses your responses to determine whether your organization has a requirment for rack or blade servers. When you have completed the online assessment, a graphic is generated on-screen. A graphic of the result will also be emailed to you if you request it.

What does the assessment do for me?

The assessment is not designed to provide definitive answers to all your most pressing problems. Neither is it a replacement for an in-depth consultation with a hardware provider. What the assessment can do however is give you a good indication of where there is the most need for investigation and action, and where you might therefore expend limited resources most effectively.

How does it work?

The assessment is executed by answering all the questions in the online questionnaire. The system then assesses the answers and calculates your score against a series of algorithms. The algorithms are constructed against a series of models developed over many years by The Bathwick Group to measure different aspects of organizations. The data you entered will determine your score. The Blade assessment tool will illustrate your score on the output graphic.

The questionnaire and algorithms behind the assessment, and the application that executes it, were devised and constructed by The Bathwick Group, an independent, specialized research, analysis, and marketing consultancy which was founded in 1997.
